Latvian violinist Gidon Kremer fell in love with his instrument when he was just 4 years old. Today he has 75 and no intention of putting aside his fabulous Nicola Amati from 1641. A pupil of the great David Oistrakh, Kremer is one of the most original virtuosos of our day. Original and compelling is the program he proposes for his return to the Vicenza scene together with two notable traveling companions: the Second Sonata by Busoni and the Trio in A minor that Tchaikovsky dedicated “A la mèmoire d'un grand artist”.
