Educational Projects

The City of Vicenza Civic Theater Foundation offers programs of education and inclusion to facilitate the approach to understanding the theater, music, dance and all forms of live entertainment, by a public of all ages. Particular attention is devoted to the youngest citizens, to students and the world of education, because the cultural growth and education of future audiences are important aspects of the Foundation's mission.

The projects focus on all stages of growth, starting from expectant mothers and families, with initiatives aimed at children from 0 to 3 years of age, but also to pre-K, primary and middle school children, to arrive at adolescents and accompany them to majority. Live entertainment helps people discover the pleasure of experimenting with new forms of communication and social interaction, fostering an integrated growth of the personality at all levels; in this sense, it is an “educational tool” that lasts a lifetime and it is particularly important to acquire familiarity with it from the earliest age.

During the period of closure brought about by the pandemic, we began to develop an artistic and theatrical experience for students and young people from 14 to 20, designed to repair some of the invisible damage caused by forced isolation, the prohibition of contact, focusing on the transformation of language, and how to reconnect, as the theater does so well, exploring the sense of human nature, of relationships, of others and ourselves.
