Alexander Lonquich direttore e pianoforte
Joseph Haydn Sinfonia da Armida
Ludwig van Beethoven Sinfonia n. 8
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Concerto per pianoforte e orchestra K 491
Monday 6 February, 20:45 | Sala Maggiore |
In this new concert at the helm of the OTO Alexander Lonquich, who also performs at the piano, proposes three of the most influential composers of every era. There is Haydn, with the Armida Overture, one of his best operatic achievements. There's Mozart's Concerto in C minor, which was a box office hit at the time. And finally the Eighth Symphony with which a mature Beethoven returns to look at Haydn and Mozart as models of reference. What do the three masterpieces have in common? A wave of contagious vitality!
