Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico
Enrico Dindo director and cello
Antonín Dvořák Rondo in Sol minore per violoncello e orchestra Op. 94
Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij Variazioni su un tema rococò per violoncello e orchestra Op. 33
Monday 6 March, 20:45 | Sala Maggiore |
The star of this concert is the Piedmontese cellist Enrico Dindo, winner - at the beginning of his career - of the prestigious Rostropovich Prize and today counted among the most prominent Italian musicians on international stages. With the precious sound of Pietro Giacomo Rogeri of 1717 made available to him by the Pro Canale Foundation, Dindo performs a Dvořák with a fresh popular flavor and Tchaikovsky's virtuosic Variations inspired by the poetics of the eighteenth century. The final seal is Beethoven's energetic Second Symphony.
