Passi is the story of Abdon Pamich, an exile and refugee from Fiume, and an Italian racewalking champion. The show recounts the Olympic final of the 50 km walk in Tokyo 1964: on the starting line there are the strongest walkers in the world: crossing their gazes, Pamich's eyes rest on those of the Hungarian athlete Istvan Havasi. His mind immediately takes him to the night of 23 September 1947, when he and his brother Giovanni flee from Fiume, the city where he was born.
