A welcome return to Vicenza for Spellbound Contemporary Ballet, a leading company on the European scene and beyond, which with Sleeping Queen offers a poetic and symbolic reflection on the theme of power and alienation. A work with nine excellent performers that draws inspiration from the universal fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty, but which subverts its narrative codes and symbolisms to transpose them into a profoundly current dimension.
