Prospero, the legitimate Duke of Milan, has been deposed by his brother Antonio with the help of Alonso, King of Naples, and abandoned at sea with his daughter Miranda. After twelve long years of exile on an island, with the help of Ariel - a spirit he freed from the dominion of the witch Sycorax and who is now at his service - Prospero will unleash a Storm.
A ship carrying his ancient enemies will shipwreck on the coasts of the island and thus will begin a performance in which Prospero, like a skilled director, will orchestrate various episodes that will lead his adversaries to experience intrigues and betrayals. It will be the wisdom and magic of Prospero that will reveal the true nature of the traitors and in light of his own baseness, the deposed Duke will grant them his forgiveness. The island thus becomes the enchanted theater in which Prospero shows us the meanders to travel to reach forgiveness.
