A creation that embodies primordial and visceral energies through a choreographic choreography, redesigned on the bodies of the dancers of the Eko Dance Project. Inspired by the genius of Stravinsky, who reveals occult realities as in an act of dowsing, Roberta Ferrara's Rite of Spring sees the dramaturgical collaboration of Pompea Santoro (formerly a dancer of Mats Ek and his assistant) and the composer Benedetto Boccuzzi, who with electronic music transforms the Stravinsky score into a multidimensional space.
Equilibrio Dinamico, desired and directed by the choreographer Roberta Ferrara, was born in Bari in 2011. The company, recognized by the Ministry of Culture as a Production Organization of Dance Under35, boasts an eclectic and international repertoire. In addition to the performances of Ferrara herself, an internationally acclaimed choreographer and teacher, the company has performed performances by choreographers such as Jiří Pokorný, Igor Kirov, Bert Uyttenhove, Matthias Kass & Clément Bugnon, Marco Blázquez, Riccardo Buscarini, Aida Vainieri, Brandon Lagaert. Thanks also to collaborations with various Italian cultural institutes including Mexico, New York, Athens, San Paolo, San Francisco, Ankara, Cologne and Zagreb, Equilibrio Dinamico is invited to seasons and festivals in Europe, America and Asia.
