RAVE.L is the spectacle of a timeless space.
A project nurtured with passion after a long period of study and work around a visionary, dynamic installation closely linked to the evocative power of Ravel's music.
Ravel's Rave meets dance that, between flight and abyss, accords evanescence and restlessness, alienation and acumen.
The voice of the body is freed and liberated from the weight; the weight of having to say, to explain and that allows living suspended between human and superhuman.
Dance and music trace the path of the physical and mental journey, as a metaphor for a life marked by continuous processes of research and liberation through paths of subversion.
The rhythmic texture is entrusted to a choreographic score that resists musical rarefaction and finds its meaning in the deep neurobiological state of flow. A present that remains present, surpasses Kronos time and lives in the transcendent and eternal one, capable of bringing out the depth of things hidden on their surface.
Through the ritual of rave we investigate the chaotic dimension of the universe and how an instinctive approach to existence can become possible again.
An aesthetic of inebriated and unbridled corporeality accompanies the escape from the space-time coordinates constrained by post-modern society.
The research reveals in the essence of extemporaneity the ephemeral, the hedonism, the pure pleasure thanks to the centrality of that simple, pleasant and universal act that is dance. The centrality of the body and of sensual pleasure amplified by altered states for an ecstatic rapture.
Tactility and proxemics constitute the basis of the reflection and choreographic investigation. A research that intends to investigate the perception of movement in time and its memory, chasing that illusion of real-time fruition of a present that belongs only to a time already past.
A work that focuses its attention on the trace, on the memory, on the memory of a movement.
The progressive adoration of the sensual, Dionysian, romantic and at the same time tragic present. Once lived in the Aion.
