Concert continuously interrupted by the comic digressions of the musicians or clown show well supported by music?
Clown in libertà is a moment of euphoria, recreation and cathartic rituality for three funny, nice and ‘talented’ clowns who seem to be gripped by a childish excitement at the idea of having a stage and an audience at their complete disposal. Without a stated story and without any exchange of jokes, Clown in libertà tells, therefore, the somewhat anomalous afternoon of three clowns who want to put on a show to entertain, amaze and finally conquer, embrace, kiss the audience of passers-by. Trying by all means to surprise them, at the cost of bullying each other, of playing pranks on each other, they will end up causing, at times, the derailment of the action. Here then are sequences of hand to hand, slow motion duels, intricate juggling passages repeatedly stealing the tools from each other's hands, and even evolutions and pyramids.
Music is the true backbone of the action and narrative development; it accompanies, punctuates and gives rhythm to every segment and every action. The entire show is thus like a great, unique and continuous musical journey that almost never stops, not even during the most unthinkable acrobatics.
