On the stage of the Teatro Comunale di Vicenza the stars of the State Ballet of Georgia - directed by Nina Ananiashvili, internationally renowned dancer - one of the most famous and prestigious dance companies in the world and the best example of the romantic choreographic tradition, for a special show outside subscription.
The choreographic and musical version presented in Vicenza dates back to 11 March 2016, when it was staged for the first time at the Tbilisi Opera House. The plot is the known one: Princess Odette is the victim of a spell by the wizard Rothbart who makes her live like a swan during the day, to then take her true form again at night. Only the man who will love her, in absolute fidelity, will be able to free her. The love between Odette and Prince Siegfried will win over the intrigues of the wizard and his daughter Odile, breaking the evil spell.
