RAME is a quintet composed by Valentina Fin (voice), Giovanni Fochesato (saxophones), Mauro Spanò (piano), Marco Centasso (double bass) and Filippo Mampreso (drums). It was founded in 2016 in Vicenza (Venice, Italy).
Its debut album 'RAME' was published in 2018 under the Emme Record Label. The ensemble has taken part in several festivals in Italy, as well as across Europe, and was awarded third prize in the Jazz Juniors Competition in Krakow, Poland. They were also selected as finalists in Bucharest Jazz Competition 2019. In the same year they were invited to perform at the Nisville Jazz Festival in Serbia.
In 2021 the group recorded their follow-up album, called "Oscura Era", in which it took a new path toward improvisation and experimental research.
