A performance that is structured like a beta test, that is, the first phase of verification of a software in real conditions of use by real users. The project was born to investigate the concept of scrolling and, borrowing the structure of the free trial, comes to question the relationship between performativity and consumption.

The second chapter of Good vibes only is an infinite scrolling acted and suffered by a human being who is inevitably a performer. It is an impact test through which to test the resistance to today's performance mechanisms. It is the unexpected emergence of the human component, of the "non-performative", which reveals itself between the interstices of the choreographic device.

Francesca Santamaria is an artist active in the field of performing arts. Her research focuses on contemporary performance logics and, through the body in motion and its limits, investigates and reflects on the concept of performing. Her creative journey began in 2021. In 2022 she took part in Incubatore per futur_ coreograf_ CIMD and in 2023 she participated in the Vetrina della giovane danza d’autore. Her works are presented in various national contexts.
