The darkest days of the greatest, brightest rock and roll band on the planet, told in an original, curious, and fascinating way, and enhanced by legendary songs reimagined in an acoustic key, accompanied by striking images and historic footage projected on a big screen.
From the mysterious death of Brian Jones (July 3, 1969) to the American tour that ended tragically at Altamont (December 6, 1969), the six most difficult months in the history of Jagger, Richards & Co. come back to life in a show written and narrated by Ezio Guaitamacchi. An incredible story, always hanging in a delicate balance between tragic events and moments of pure enthusiasm, which marked the artistic (and personal) rebirth of a group of British lads born to make music.
On stage alongside Ezio and his guitars are the enchanting voice of Brunella Boschetti, the artistic talent of Andrea Mirò (the show's musical director), and the performing skills of Folco Orselli, who takes on the dual role of actor—playing Sam Cutler, the Stones' tour manager at the time—and musician.
From Brown Sugar to Sympathy for the Devil, and Ruby Tuesday to Gimme Shelter, a dozen "Stonesian" classics will be reinterpreted in an unusual way, performed exclusively on acoustic instruments.
