C'mon Tigre enters a new phase of their musical journey. At the core of this evolution is electronic music, embraced as an independent language rather than a mere backdrop. Drum machines, sequencers, synthesizers—a sharper, more sculpted sound, explicitly built to move bodies.
The resulting live concept is that of a rave designed for both listening and dancing. It creates a space where high-energy dancefloor tracks coexist with moments of deep listening, without the two poles ever completely excluding one another. The tension between these two souls—music to be heard and music to be danced to—is the emotional engine of the entire project. Electronics do not replace the acoustic dimension; they balance and intersect it.
On stage, the oud, guitars, bass, cello, xylophone, drums, acoustic percussion, and a female voice come together: traditional instruments engaging in an equal, non-hierarchical dialogue with electronic production. The outcome is a texture-dense sound capable of alternating between tension and release, focus and trance, driven by a constant rhythmic direction that holds everything together. The repertoire is almost entirely new, with a few nods to the collective's older catalog to show where this sound comes from and where it is heading.
C'mon Tigre is a duo that shapes its identity through a collective of musicians and artists from all over the world, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures, musical traditions, and art forms. Driven by the idea of crossing borders and creating sonic experiences with a powerful cinematic imagery, from the very beginning C'mon Tigre has translated its music into visual forms and experiences. By collaborating with some of the world's most talented illustrators, photographers, and artists, they have earned critical acclaim and a steadily growing international following. Through their music, they give life to a personal language born from the blending of jazz, afro-jazz, hip hop, and funk—never confining their songs to a single style, but pushing exploration as far as possible, into a dimension that any journey worthy of the name should encompass.
Habitat, their fourth studio album, was released on November 24, 2023. The record stands as a testament to the power of musical fusion, bridging seemingly distant worlds. The album features a series of collaborations with artists who bring their own special, distinctive contribution to the project. Among them are Seun Kuti, whose afrobeat roots infuse the album with a powerful and infectious energy; Xenia Franca, a brilliant Brazilian artist from São Paulo known for her unique voice and songwriting; Arto Lindsay, recognized as a pivotal figure in experimental music; and Giovanni Truppi, one of the most compelling voices in contemporary Italian music. Their artistic partnership with the California-based collective Drumetrics also continues.
A year later, on December 6, 2024, they released Instrumental Ensemble - Soundtrack for Imaginary Movie Vol.1, the score to a non-existent film. This instrumental project offers an innovative approach to film production by flipping the creative paradigm, focusing on developing the emotional core of a movie through music before any visual component even exists. The year 2025 kicked off with a tour dedicated to their ten-year career, celebrated by performing their self-titled debut album, C’mon Tigre, live.
In the autumn of 2025, they released the single K//A\K//A, teasing new music for 2026. Closely tied to the single is the LUMINA project, brought to life in October and November with two special live dates in Bologna and Milan. LUMINA is a collective ritual, a sensory architecture that shatters the barriers between stage and audience, between the real and the digital.
In 2026, they will be back on tour with a project stemming directly from LUMINA, showcasing brand-new music on stage. On April 24, 2026, they released their latest single, DRIVER IDLE.
