To inhabit a place and be inhabited by it is to understand its unique qualities, to notice a space, an atmosphere, certain materials and densities, the resonances between different elements. Not so much as individuals, but as a collective body and plural organism, moving within a common geography, embodying its maps and evolutions; bringing margins and centres into dialogue, practising uneven times, confluences and dispersions. Becoming part of the same landscape, in which to blend and entrust oneself, breaking down into a broader vision. The work is danced by a large and diverse group, about twenty performers who have been following the Jennifer Rosa collective for varying lengths of time. The collective is active at the Voll space in Vicenza and promotes courses open to non-professional dancers. The group is part of a wider dance community in the city, born from the intertwining of individual realities and audience development programmes, such as the TCVI's Spettatori danzanti (Dancing Spectators) project, which has been curated by the collective since 2020. The opportunity to delve into contemporary physical practices as well as theoretical courses related to dance as a specific language has led to the emergence of a passionate, diverse, ramified and increasingly visible community.

Jennifer Rosa is an artistic collective active since 2005, based in Vicenza at the VOLL space. It consists of Chiara Bortoli, Francesca Raineri, Francesca Contrino, and Vasco Manea for the performance side, and Andrea Rosset and Fiorenzo Zancan for the visual side. It has produced around thirty works, including performances and video and photographic installations, which have been presented at festivals, events and exhibitions in Italy, France, Germany, the United States and Uruguay.
