CRY VIOLET, homonymous title of the extinct flower, is a choreography that is drawn on a sound composition proposed by Teho Teardo. Using a gestural code that portrays expressions of pain and shame, the human expedient of expiating one's sense of guilt through widespread phenomena such as greenwashing is highlighted.
Ginevra Panzetti and Enrico Ticconi live between Berlin and Turin and have been working as an artistic duo since 2008. Their research develops in the fields of dance, performance and visual art. By delving into themes linked to the historical union between communication, violence and power, they draw on ancient imaginaries, building hybrid images between history and contemporaneity.
