The inspiration of A Love Supreme returns for the Festival's traditional dawn concert. At sunrise at the Abbey of Sant'Agostino, saxophonist Dimitri Grechi Espinoza will pay tribute to Coltrane's masterpiece with tenor sax, recorded band, and electronic effects, retracing the movements Acknowledgement, Resolution, Pursuance, Psalm, preserving its deepest essence while exploring radically new soundscapes, including modal improvisation, Eastern mysticism, and contemporary spirituality. In keeping with the spirit of openness and sharing that characterizes the Vicenza festival, this project marks a dialogue between Vicenza Jazz and the 2026 edition of the Bible Festival. The concert will be introduced by priest and sociologist don Simone Zonato.
