A girl on roller skates trains while filming her performance live. But something happens: the sound of gunshots invades the scene, her body falls, she is injured. The street thus becomes the theatre of a test of endurance that is both physical and existential, of the drama of life in all the tragic banality of a compulsion to repeat.

Gaetano Palermo (Catania, 1998) is an artist and choreographer based in Bologna. His research explores the ontology of performance at the boundary between reality and fiction, through the lens of movement and stasis. He studied philosophy in Bologna and performing arts at the IUAV University of Venice. Since 2023, he has been collaborating with artist and performer Michele Petrosino. His work has been supported and presented by institutions such as La Biennale di Venezia, Triennale Milano, MAMbo Bologna, Teatro Regio di Parma, Fondazione I Teatri di Reggio-Emilia, Santarcangelo Festival, Gender Bender Festival, Kilowatt Festival, Danza Urbana, and Ammutinamenti Festival. Gaetano Palermo is an associate artist of KLm – Kinkaleri, Le Supplici, mk – national dance production company.
