Eros, Agape, Dilectio, Caritas… All these names are found united in one in the Augustinian corpus. It's about love in the broadest sense.
In Sol Invictus by Hervé Koubi, it is still a question of bringing together, of building, of dancing together. If the line of flight remains in the wake of the sweet orientalist sequence of Ce que le jour doit à la nuit, the "violence" of Les Nuits barbares and the balletomaniac flight of Odyssey, changes subtly make their way.
In fact, the Company now has dancers, French, Italian, Brazilian, Swiss, American, Taiwanese as well as those, Tunisian, Moroccan and Algerian, but also female dancers. The gesture is still "earthly", but less martial, the style is airy. Hervé Koubi, in fact, wishes to weave a more refined work of dance, indulging the multiple personalities of the new group of dancers.
Today Koubi wants to go further and leave behind the theme of origins. His desire is to give what remains after the physical process of sublimation. And what remains, when all is forgotten, when all is forgiven, when "the mass is over", when all is dance.
