It's always a show to hear and see a piano duo. Mariangela and Alessandro come from two seaside cities – Naples and Venice – with a great musical tradition and the program chosen seems to have been made to enhance their virtuosity: the late romanticism of Reger, the young Rachmaninov and an unusually melodic Ligeti.
