The energetic Antonia embodies the perfect heroine of all betrayed wives and ironically recounts their "survival" within the home. In order to continue to be close to her husband, the protagonist decides to accept the unthinkable. Thus the most absurd episodes unfold between brilliant dialogues and monologues. Only when a new, young and intelligent man enters Antonia's heart, does the husband seem to realize his wife's existence, her being a woman, her desperate need to be loved and considered.
