A choreographic and musical investigation around the theme of doubt, Lucciole is a research path, through the body and music, on all those aspects which, in an era of social tensions and conflicts, emerge more and more. Immersed in a constant media bombardment, the practice of doubt becomes a natural and at the same time necessary consequence in order not to fall into inertia and emotional, social, political detachment and to continue to cultivate a critical and reactive sense. Vittoria Caneva translates this investigation into doubt by focusing on mobility in stop-and-go mode and on the study of the asymmetry between the right and left halves of the human body and on the cognitive, behavioral and discernment consequences that this asymmetry determines.

Vittoria Caneva (1996) is a dancer and dance artist trained at the Balletto di Roma, she won the Botteghe D'Arte XL scholarship, continuing her training at the Arboreto Teatro Dimora di Mondaino, Operaestate Festival Veneto, Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo, focusing more and more on the dramaturgy of dance. His practice is centered on achieving a lucid, courageous mental and physical presence through quality encounters and dialogues. For the Gender festival Bender participates in the Pivot Dance project, dedicated to the search for new forms of dialogue and active involvement of the public by carving out a space for discussion and comparison. She is a dancer for Kinkaleri and Nora Chipaumire, teaches for Dance Well-Movement Research for Parkinson and for STEP4YOUNG, a project aimed at young people that involves the use of artistic practices to combat gender-based violence.
